VOC Monitoring ESG Compliance
Valorian frequently encounters the challenge of capturing real-time information from field equipment, which is crucial for meeting environmental compliance standards.
One such case involved an industrial cleaning contractor that sought to automate volatile organic compound (VOC) readings on their scrubber trucks.
This initiative was essential not only for compliance with state and federal regulations but also for securing a new contract and uncovering additional revenue opportunities.
In response to this need, Valorian developed TruView ESG, a robust platform designed specifically to gather and analyze environmental data from field equipment.
The project included several key steps:
- VOC Monitoring Implementation: We automated the measurement of total VOCs emitted from the scrubber trucks, enabling the contractor to meet contractual obligations for environmental management.
- Temperature Monitoring: TruView ESG was equipped to track the temperatures of critical components, such as carbon filters. The system generated alerts for personnel when it was time for replacements, ensuring that equipment remained operational and compliant.
- Centralized Data Management: Data from the scrubber trucks was transmitted to a centralized cloud database, facilitating real-time monitoring and analysis. This setup allowed the contractor to generate comprehensive reports and insights quickly.
- Enhanced Operational Efficiency: The automation of data collection significantly reduced the administrative burden on field personnel, allowing them to concentrate on core operational tasks while ensuring that accurate data was available for reporting and compliance.
- Scalability: Recognizing the contractor's potential for growth, we designed TruView ESG to be scalable, allowing for the future addition of monitoring capabilities for fuel consumption and water usage.
